Grand Jury Matter Investigation

Many cases come to us in their investigative stages.  In other words, our clients have not been charged with a crime, but are being investigated by the FBI or another Federal Agency.  It is very important to have an experienced attorney even at this early stage of the case.  In the past, we have been able to show that our client should not be the subject or even part of the investigation, and thereby cause the case not to be filed in the first place.

Grand Jury matters, likewise, require an experienced attorney to represent the person of interest at every stage.  Without an experienced attorney at your side, you are likely to make mistakes that will come back to haunt you later on.  The grand jury is afforded wide latitude to inquire into criminal violations.  The grand jury may compel the production of evidence and testimony of witnesses without any of the procedural and evidentiary rules which apply in federal trials.  Therefore, it is imperative to have a qualified criminal defense lawyer represent any person that received a subpoena from a grand jury or is the target of the investigation itself.
